摘要

To determine yield response of soybean to nitrogen and animal manure under different plant densities of soybean, an experiment was conducted in Qala-i-Naw, Badqis province during 2018 under split plot arrangement with three replications. In main plots, four levels nutrients, including 3 levels of nitrogen fertilizer from urea (0, 50 and 100 kg/ha) and animal manure (30 t/ha) and subplot three levels of plant population (25, 33 and 40 plants/m~2) were taken. The results showed that the fertilizer application had significant effect on growth and yield attributing characters like plant height, biological yield, seed yield, harvest index, number of nodes in stem and the inter node length, of soybean. The effect of density was also found significant on number of pods per plant, 1000 grain weight, seed yield, harvest index, plant height, number of nodes in stem, and internode distance in stem. Seed yield increased with fertilizer consumption and highest yield was obtained with 100 kg/ha nitrogen. Biological yield and seed yield achieved with 30 t/ha animal manure and 100 kg/ha nitrogen were found statistically at par which shows that with the assured availability of animal manure, the chemical fertilizer application can be replaced without any yield penalty in soybean.
