US Midcontinent natural prices were mixed on March 9 for March 10 flows, despite expected growth in demand. In the Upper Midwest, Chicago city-gates remained virtually unchanged at around $2.50/MMBtu. Consumers Energy, city gate increased almost 4 cents to about $2.60/MMBtu, while Northern, Ventura fell about 2 cents to around $2.50/MMBtu. In the Midcontinent, Southern Star increased almost 5 cents to around $2.30/MMBtu, while ANR, Okla decreased almost 5 cents to about $2.40/MMBtu.
