The US Army's 2nd Aviation Detachment has a key role training officer cadets. Tom Kaminski visits the famous academy to find out about its flying operations. Located on a cliffside above the Hudson River at West Point, New York, the US Military Academy (USMA) is the oldest continuously occupied military post in the United States. Established in 1802, the USMA is also the oldest of the five US Service Academies. It provides the Corps of Cadets with a university education and upon graduation, most are commissioned into the US Army at the rank of 2nd Lieutenant.
