This paper discusses the salient features of production of good quality bold grain plantation white sugar. In Indian market there is huge demand for good quality bold grain sugar, however practically its higher production is challenging in plantation white sugar production. Generally there is a need of additional capacity, for Pan, Crystallizer, A Massecuite machines, sugar conditioning equipments. But as a contradiction to these old theory, Shri Gurudatt Sugars Ltd. made some changes in boiling house and achieved in producing 100 bolder grain sugar with good quality (above 9 mesh) and average colour of 70 IU with double sulphitation process.
