US ERCOT power down on strong wind, solar production boost

After trending bullish for the beginning of the workweek, powerin ERCOT traded bearish during Nov. 16 trading for Nov. 17 deliveryfollowing weaker natural gas prices, and a boost in wind production.ERCOT North Hub real-time on-peak slid double-digits, downalmost $17.75 to price about $55.25/MWh. The corresponding off-peakcontract moved almost $3.75 lower to about $50.25/MWh.The Henry Hub NYMEX contract took an 11-cent tumble to $5.92/MMBtu as of Nov. 16, 1:16 pm CT.
