摘要

Abstract The latest upcoming technology of visible light communication (VLC) system has become a beneficial part of most of the applications than older communication mechanisms of radiofrequency communications. The presence of threats in the wireless channel is higher than any other network type. A high-security module designed reduces data loss for the new technology system and also derives a mathematical expression for the protection of data dropout. Rossler, Lorenz oscillator, and Tent chaotic map will be used for generating the chaotic mask sequence. Since these chaotic sequences spread dynamically, behave like noise signals, and are sensitive, only authenticated users can retrieve the information from the source. This model suits health care, military units, and where private data threats are happening. The data security is given in such a way that, even malicious attackers cannot retrieve the data when they do the snooping. Through theoretical analysis, security in the VLC system will be proven and then it is validated using simulation. The simulation result shows the BER of?~?10–6 and data dropout of a maximum of 0.08 bits.
