Oman based container glass producer,Majan Glass is undergoing a major technology upgradation exercise at its Sohar Industrial estate-based plant.Makjan Glass currently operates two furnaces with an installed capacity of 330 tonnes per day of glass containers from this facility.The company is refurbishing one of the two furnaces with new control system and cold repair,and overhaul 2 production lines with conversion to NNPB production,which will enable the company to produce higher number of light weight glass containers.
