摘要

In this paper, we have reported the computation of the third harmonic generation of GaAs spherical quantum dot under the action of inversely quadratic Hellmann potential. For this goal, the Schrodinger equation is solved applying the Nikiforov-Uvarov procedure and obtained the energy spectrum and the eigenfunctions of the system. According to the deduced eigen energies and eigenfunctions, we have calculated the third harmonic generation by compact density matrix and iterative method. The numerical results represent that the third harmonic generation can be simply controlled by two parameters: quantum dot radius and potential depth. Also we show that this behavior has an important effect on the advancement of semiconductors and optoelectronic devices.
