Some of you may recall that I once had a company, offering technical products to industry: Klenzyme was a collaboration between the University of Northampton and Westminster University, in the person of my partner Prof. Christine Evans. We developed enzyme products that attacked dung (on hides, live animals and animal housing), bird guano on buildings and fly squash on the fronts of vehicles. Each product worked like a charm, but we could not get the business off the ground commercially. Every time we made a pitch to other companies or potential investors, we got the same-three questions, although not necessarily in the same order.
