The festival celebrated the skills, dedication and devotion of our firefighters, who put their lives on the line to keep the public safe from harm on a daily basis. The two-day event saw more than 300 competitors from 25 UK fire and rescue services showcase their skills and technical abilities. Sixty-seven teams went head-to-head - across five key disciplines - showcasing to the public the wide-range of activities firefighters undertake each and every day. And it is not just the UK that took part - a team from Luxemburg is competing in the Water Challenge.
