Texas, PJM and Voluntary Renewable Energy Certificate prices sawvolatility week-on-week as sources reported increased trading in thosemarkets on June 23.A source reported more than 1,000 Texas CRS-listed RECs tradedthe week between June 16-23. The cost of a TX Green-e Eligible WindREC V22 dropped almost 30, assessed at $1.90/REC, and the price ofa TX Solar REC V23 dropped about 15.5, assessed at $3.80/REC .According to the Platts Renewable Penetration Index, ERCOT windenergy penetration was at 8.83 during on-peak hours on June 22 and22.25 during off-peak hours.
