摘要

Mild and 'green' ultrasound-assisted reaction of chitin with 3-(chloromethyl) 1 ,2,4 selenadiazolo 4,5-apyridin-4-ium bromide in water affords novel selenium-containing cationic chitin derivatives. The thus obtained chitin derivatives are water soluble and are characterized by high in vitro antifungal activity comparable with conventional antifungal drug Amphotericin B.
