Wednesday 9 November celebrated 50 years of Philadelphia cream cheese being made in South Australia.Owned by Mondelez International, the Mount Gambier factory produces some 80 million tubs of cream cheese annually, sourcing close to 150 million ,itresof fresh milk from SA dairy farms to do so Past and present employees and dairy farmers, along with South Australian Premier Peter Malinauskas and Minister for Primary Industries Clare Scriven (who spoke at the DIAA SA Gala Awards this year) gathered in Mount Gambier to celebrate the milestone.
