Theoretical and experimental studies of the fragment of the cylindrical antenna array containing eight linear arrays of eight TEM horns with metallization of the interhorn space. Using numerical simulation by the finite element method, the characteristics of radiation and matching of a fragment of a cylindrical antenna array are investigated when scanning in sectors +/- 15 degrees and +/- 30 degrees. Mock-ups of a linear and a fragment of a cylindrical array were made and measurements of their matching and radiation characteristics were carried out. Comparison of the results of numerical simulation and physical experiment were given.
