On the Pterophoridae (Lepidoptera) of Colombia

Twelve species of Pterophoridae were collected in the Department of Cundinamarca, Colombia during three days in July 2018. From this sample, the new species Postplatyptilia chicaquensis Landry Gielis, sp. n. and Hellinsia danielae Landry Gielis, spg: n. are described and five other species are reported as new for Colombia. Adults of all 12 species are illustrated, as well as the genitalia of the sex(es) collected. Additionally, a list of all of the 53 species reported from Colombia is presented.
