Abstract The sources of the major pollutants in quarry wastewater are investigated for Kuznetsk Basin coal mines. Various methods of removing those pollutants are analyzed, identifying their advantages and disadvantages. A search of foreign patents permits recommendations regarding promising decontamination methods.
