North Dakota crude production rose more than 4 in September but could slide lower in the fourth quarter due to some unplanned pipeline downtime and early wintry weather. Crude output in the Bakken Shale state rose above 1.1 million barrels per day in September, while natural gas production hit just under 3.2 billion cubic feet per day-a 2.8 increase and an all-time high for gas output, according to the latest preliminary data from the North Dakota Department of Mineral Resources (DMR).
