METTLER TOLEDO'S single-draft weigh-in-motion scale, TruckPass, enables legal-for-trade levels of accuracy. TruckPass eliminates the need for trucks to stop on the scale to complete a transaction, the company says. Keeping trucks in motion with TruckPass can increase throughput potential, reduce congestion at the scale and help reduce overall traffic, thus reducing or even eliminating truck idling time at the scale, according to Mettler Toledo. With fewer trucks idling for less time, the company says operations can expect to see an impact on overall carbon footprint and more easily achieve sustainability goals.
