Indian private-sector metals producer Hindalco's alumina production rose by 20pc on the year during April 2021-March 2022, on ramped-up capacity at its Utkal refnery in Odisha state. The producer's alumina production stood at 3.24mn t in the fscal year ended March 2022, while sales during the same period stood at 359,000t. The company said it aims to sell about 400,000t of alumina in the current fscal year ending March 2023.
