Comparative Environmental Assessment of Various Types of Floor Coverings

The goal of the study was to perform an environmental impact and other impact assessment related to health and toxicology of seven different materials for flooring systems and to identify the weaknesses and strengths of the product "ceramic tile" compared to a number of selected competing materials. The study shows that the covering with the lowest climate impact in the baseline scenario was ceramic tile.
