Carbon certificate prices were on the rise in California on Aug. 4, SP Global Commodity Insights data showed, with the California Carbon Allowance Vintage 2022 for August delivery up 7.96 to price at $30.23/ Allowance, and the December strip up $7.18 at $30.60/Allowance. California Carbon Offsets followed the same direction, with the August strip gaining 7.75 to price at $19.60/mt, and the December strip breaking a new record high at $19.80/mt.
