MOL Inks Charter Deal with QatarEnergy For Three Newbuilding LNG Carriers

Doha—Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL), through a wholly-owned subsidiary, has entered into a long-term charter contract for three newbuilding liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers with QatarEnergy. The LNG ships, to be built at Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) Co. in China, are scheduled for delivery in 2027. Capacity of the carriers was not given.
