ERCOT prices rise amid warmer weather, lower wind generation

ERCOT peakload demand was forecast to rise 19.17 May 26 astemperatures rebounded and wind generation dropped, before furtherrising about 8.50 May 27, according to the System Operator.On the Intercontinental Exchange, real-time prices traded higher,with the ERCOT North real-time on-peak contract trading near$100.50/MWh, and off-peak up $9 at $69/MWh.
