Single acceptance sampling inspection plan based on transmuted Rayleigh distribution

In this article, we developed a single acceptance sampling inspection plan (SASIP) for the transmuted Rayleigh (TR) distribution under the condition that the lifetime experiment is terminated at a predetermined time. The mean characteristic of the TR distribution and its detailed description are also included. The suggested plan has been established for various confidence level, acceptance number, and ratio of true mean lifetime to specified mean lifetime. A certain specified lifetime must be achieved with a minimum sample size. The proposed plan’s operating characteristic (OC) values and producer risk are given for a fixed specified value of c. In the case of producer risk, a minimum ratio of the actual mean life to the specified mean life is also determined. For easier comprehension, the results of the presented tables are shown in graphical form. Also comparison is done between proposed study and SASIP for TIR distribution. To demonstrate the usefulness of the suggested SASIP, two real-world instances have been given.
