THE operator of the multi-field Block B-17 in the Malaysia-Thailand Joint Development Area (MTJDA) is considering the potential replacement of its floating storage and offloading vessel as it prepares for new drilling and production activities. Market sources in the floater sector told Upstream that very early stage market inquiries had been made about a potential replacement for the Ratu Songkhla ESO.
