Aluminium demand strong despite high prices

Demand for aluminium products remains strong in Europe despite record-high prices, Polish processors Grupa Kety and Alumetal said separately on 21 April. Both companies — extruder Kety and ingot producer Alu- metal — reported increases in their output in the frst quarter of 2022 and voiced optimism about demand for their products in the coming months as the market so far has proved fairly resilient to high prices amid tight supplies of feedstocks.
