Susan Bartlett,FTSC and Wal Gallagher,FTSC have recently been awarded the SCAA President's Medal by the immediate Past President Steven Owen,FTSC.Sue is the current Secretary of the SCAA Board and Technical Coordinator,which includes Textbook and Conferences.Sue has been a member of SCAA since 1982 and has assumed many roles including NSW Section Chairman in 1985,and SCAA President in 2000-2002.In 199 she was awarded the international professional grading of Fellow(FTSC).Professional Grading within Surface Coatings Association Australia is a qualification awarded by the Association in recognition of a member's professional standing in the surface coatings industry.Sue is perhaps best known to members for leading recent successful SCAA conferences.That is not a small feat,conferences are a massive event to organise,many months of planning and organising for Sue and her team.Then to deliver successful conferences year after year is worthy of a medal in itself.She has also been awarded SCAA Life membership is an honour bestowed on individual association members whose exceptional,loyal and outstanding service and contribution has provided measurable benefit to the association over an extended period of time.Sue's extraordinary contribution to our organisation makes her a worthy recipient of the President's Medal.
