Biome Makers/CaixaBank collaborate on BeCrop pilot in Spain

US soil analytics company Biome Makers (Davis, California) is collaborating with Spanish bank CaixaBank on a commercial pilot in Spain for the former's soil functional analysis technology, BeCrop. The deal increases access to the technology for farmers and CaixaBank customers. Biome Makers co-founder and CEO Adrian Ferrero welcomes the move. “Farmers and CaixaBank customers will now have the opportunity to use BeCrop technology with zero-cost financing, thanks to which the entire agricultural industry will benefit from gaining crucial biological soil data to inform their decision-making process.”
