摘要

Abstract Convective transport of incompressible viscous fluid flows across a vertical cone in the presence of radiation and the Soret effect are examined here numerically. The model is designed in terms of mathematical equations, and nondimensionalization of them is performed. To examine numerical computations, the bivariate Chebyshev spectral collocation quasi-linearization method solved the obtained nonsimilarity equations. Computations are summarized to explore governing parameter impacts on flow characteristics at various streamwise spots. Furthermore, skin friction and mass and heat transfer rates are also computed; to assess the accuracy of the utilized numerical technique, we also organized a residual analysis study, which exhibits the convergence of the outcomes.
