RZD July coal railings to export terminals down 10 on month

Russian railway operator RZD's thermal and metallurgical coal railings to ports fell 10% in July from June to 13.7 mt, while volumes were broadly flat compared to July 2020. Deliveries of all types of coal to the country's eastern export terminals dropped to 5.4 mt last month from 6.5 mt in June and from 7.6 mt in July 2020. Seasonal maintenance together with expansion projects and some weather-related incidents restricted traffic to the eastern seaboard.
