As I write this, I am at the airport leaving Nashville after attending the 2021 AHRA Annual Meeting. It's been two years since we’ve had an in-person annual meeting, and I have to say, it was so good seeing my AHRA family face to face. Of course, COVID is still very much a reality for us. Still, we successfully put on a safe, jam packed educational event. You could feel how excited everyone was to see each other again and learn from their fellow imaging peers. As I talked to other AHRA members throughout the week, it was clear that everyone’s been through a lot these past 18 months, but time and time again, when they needed advice, or even just someone to vent to, their fellow AHRA members were there for them. I’ve always enjoyed reading the forum, but many said that the forum became even more important to them as they tackled new issues related to operating during COVID. I’ve been a part of AHRA for 8 years now, and I’ve been able to really get involved with the organization through volunteering, so for me, the benefits of AHRA are well known, and I got an opportunity to share my experiences with several brand new members who attended the annual meeting.
