摘要

As sensors deliver more intelligence to a commander, the requirement to discover and distil what is important becomes a more complex task. This may include information that is needed for the immediate mission, while also building up an understanding of a pattern of life for a broader recognised intelligence picture (RIP). The ability to generate and share intelligence in the modern defence and security space has dramatically increased as more sensors are added to a commander's view in an operations centre. When properly combined, these sensors can help to enhance a RIP, with rules-based automation technologies allowing for a faster, more integrated intelligence cycle. Systematic's SitaWare Maritime allows commanders at sea and ashore to experience enhanced situational awareness from the national maritime operations centre down to individual ship boarding teams. Disseminating vital information to all users means that everyone can access mission critical information, meeting continuously evolving mission requirements and changes in dispositions. Systematic's extensive relationship with navies in NATO, Five Eyes, and beyond, has allowed us to develop and deploy interoperability capabilities that can help build multinational and multidomain operations. Support for military messaging and a variety of message text formats has enabled the smooth-running of operations for over 30 years by our users, and has become a de facto capability for navies that is available as a commercial off-the-shelf product. SitaWare Maritime can also blend data from 15 different communications standards, including AIS, OTH-Gold, ADS-B, VMF, MIP, Link 16, and more. As a result, users can bring together a variety of sensor systems, open-source data feeds, legacy platforms, and more, while also exchanging dynamic data across all domains.
