Natural gas-saturated fluid migration plays an important role in the formation of lithosphere-atmosphere relationships. The nature of the origin of gaseous fluids of the Dagi gas-hydrothermal vents on Sakhalin Island is discussed based on the data of gas-geochemical and isotope analyses and studies of the geological features of the research object. It has been shown that the source of gas emissions is a mixture of microbial and biodegraded thermogenic methane.
