As advanced digitalization progresses with the expanding use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), fifth generation(5G) mobile networks, the Internet of Things (IoT), autonomous driving, and so on, the demand forsemiconductors continues to increase. Meanwhile, the movement for realizing a carbon neutral society isbecoming more active all over the world, and semiconductor development is facing major challenges inorder to achieve a highly digitalized and sustainable society. Technological innovations are required in alllayers of semiconductor development including at the circuit and system levels.
