In the summer of 2019 the humanoid robot FEDOR (Skybot F-850) symbolically took command of the Russian space station. Firing two guns simultaneously, parachuting, or driving a Buggy, FEDOR was presented by the press not only as a future cosmonaut who will perform maintenance tasks but above all as a future Spetznaz soldier. Although the reality is less spectacular, the Special Forces are nevertheless showing increasing interest in this sector of innovation.
