Russian MTBE production from PC firms increase in 2019

Last year, production of methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) reached 1.22MM nit, a 200K mt increase compared to 2018, as PC companies increased their output to over 1MM mt/y, which was a historic high. On Nov 1., JSC Togliattisintez increased shipments to Tatneft by 21.2K mt to 128.7K mt.
