When the evidence changes, our opinion must change. After 20 years of research, it's now crystal clear that saturated fat isn't bad for you. The public health experts that tell you fat is 'bad' need to change. If not, their already slender credibility will shrink even further. One public health initiative that needs to change is Europe's Nutri-Score. Its usage should be suspended and the algorithm underlying it rewritten until it reflects the science of today, rather than the science of 20 years ago. If not, the likelihood is that it will pose a serious threat to public health in Europe and to the consumption of simple whole foods, such as dairy.
