Improved Survival in Cervical Cancer Patients Receiving Care at National Cancer Institute–Designated Cancer Centers

(Abstracted from Cancer 2022;128(19):3479–3486) For a cancer center to receive National Cancer Institute (NCI) designation, it must undergo a rigorous review process and demonstrate comprehensive cancer care and quality. Treatment at an NCI-designated cancer center (NCICC) has been shown to improve survival in lung, breast, gastrointestinal, ovarian, and bladder cancers.
