New York Independent System Operator peakload demand wasexpected to fall by 8.47% Oct. 8, reaching 15.59 GW, before jumpingback up by 9.74% Oct. 10 as the workweek starts again.On-peak locational marginal prices for Oct. 8 delivery were loweracross most NYISO hubs. The Zone G Hudson Valley on-peak LMP wasdown roughly $5.50/MWh, Zone A NYC LMP was down about $8.50/MWh and Zone A West Hub LMP dropped about $15.25/MWh, accordingto ISO data. For day-ahead Oct. 10 delivery, the NYISO Zone G on-peakcontract priced near $67/MWh during Oct. 7 trading on the IntercontinentalExchange, up about $2.75 from the previous day.
