ERCOT spot prices increase on bearish fundamentals in Texas

ERCOT spot prices rallied on the Intercontinental exchange during Sept. 14 trading for Sept. 15 delivery with ERCOT North Day-ahead onpeak contract increasing about $1.25 to $69.50/MWh. The real-time on-peak contract for Sept. 15 delivery rose about $1.75 to price around $69.75/MWh. The real-time off-peak contract for Sept. 15 spiked $3 to trade at $48.50/MWh.
