Nanocopper particles have been given considerable attention due to their interesting properties and potential applications in many industries. The nanocopper particles were successfully fabricated based on novel Al-Li alloy by salt spray droplets in salt spray chamber. The microstructures and chemical compositions of nanocopper particles were characterized by SEM with EDS. The results showed the nanocopper particles were spherical, pentagonal or rectangle shape with nanometre size, and were dispersed on the surface of Al-Li alloy. This study reports a novel green approach with lower cost to fabricate nanocopper particles, which can avoid some harmful elements to pollute environment.
