There's no greater delight for a mother who is a weaver than to weave clothing for a small daughter. Here are some special holiday projects. Pinafores can be worn over a variety of dresses―rich velvets for winter holidays, lighter fabrics for spring and summer. Since this pinafore is open on the sides, it can accommodate many months of growth! Huck lace hearts are placed in the pinafore fabric so that they border the hem and shoulder ruffles (eight shafts are required to weave the hearts; four shafts will produce the huck fabric without hearts).
