Very little - if anything - has gone wrong for Altona Mining Ltd since the first day of production at its Outokumpu project in Finland two years ago. Altona announced last month copper production at Outokumpu was on track to potentially exceed guidance for the 2014 financial year after a steady December quarter. Upgrades of the mineral resource and ore reserve estimates were also due at the time of print and will be followed by a new life of mine plan that Altona hopes will increase the processing plant's throughput to 700,000 tpa.
