Gaiam, the multichannel lifestyle brand for natural and healthy living, is making its foray into soft home via a new licensing agreement with Indo Count. The license includes bedding and bath, the latter a new category for the home textiles manufacturer. Products will be technology-driven, with a focus on the concept of "Restore and Relax." Product categories include sheets, fashion bedding, utility bedding, bath towels and bath mats. Indo Count launches the collection this month during New York Home Fashions Market with the bedding assortment. "We think that the moment is really good for this brand" to come into home furnishings, said Andy Petricoff, vice president at Indo Count. He noted that Gaiam's products have 38,000 distribution points around the world. The brand's assortment includes premium yoga mats, yoga props, yoga clothing and yoga accessories as well as fitness and yoga DVDs. Indo Count's showroom is located at 390 5th Ave.
