China premiums up Demand in China has been slow to return following the Spring Festival, with most factories returning to production towards the end of the month. Spot activity in the dollar cathode market has been limited, with premiums for ER in the range of $30-40 /t CIF Shanghai. The Two Sessions meetings, a key political event from 4-5 March, will be watched closely for any stimulus policy which could boost copper demand.
