TotalEnergies Eneos, GC Complete Project For Solar Power to GC's Thai Facilities

Bangkok-TotalEnergies Eneos and PTT Global Chemical (GC) announced the conclusion of a solar rooftop project to supply solar electricity to GC's five production facilities in Thailand. The project involved the installation of over 11,000 solar panels onto the rooftops of the five plants, which will generate about 9,500 megawatt hours of renewable energy per year. The solar electricity will provide "significant cost savings to GC and reduce its carbon footprint by about 4,300 t/y of carbon dioxide emissions.
