Ferro-silicon prices have continued to move down in June to date, and we expect that this will continue in coming weeks amid typically slow summer trading and broad weakness in downstream steel markets globally. Lower electricity prices in China are also likely to prompt alloy smelters to cut offer prices amid weak demand and improved margins.
