Eni and Chevron set for Mexico drive

ENI and US supermajor Chevron have unveiled separate plans to carry out exploration drilling in the Salina basin offshore Mexico, as the duo target hydrocarbons in deep-water plays. The Italian oil company has laid out a potential four-well campaign in Block 24, a concession contract it acquired with QatarEnergy in January 2018 during Mexico's fourth international bid round.
