Final orders being given to the crew of a Vincent, which has been bombed up with the help of local personnel. Vincent K4148 crashed at Khormaksar in June 1938. The original caption stated, "Sergeant Frank's slight accident"! LEFT: Facilities at Khormaksar were primitive in the extreme, as illustrated by those used by the squadron armourers. BELOW: Fairey IIIF MklVBs J9664/M, K1711/P and J9671/N fly together. J9664 was on strength in 1930-31; it crashed on landing at El Massana during January 1931, but was repaired and returned to the unit, no subsequent fate being listed. J9671 was with No 8 Squadron from 1930-35, when it was struck off charge, while K1711 crashed in February 1935.
