Conti to tap power of digitalisation, sustainability under 2030 vision

GERMANY: Continental AG aims to strengthen its position among the world's top tire makers as part of its Vision 2030 strategy, unveiled 16 Dec 2020. The Hanover-based group intends to increase its share of growth markets in Asia and North America and to 'systematically expand' its global supply of tires for electric mobility and ultra-high performance tires. The truck and bus tire business is also to be further developed in all regions through Conti360' fleet services, while in speciality tires the vision is for ramp up growth, particular-ly in the agricultural segment.
